The plight of elders in Canada is examined through the lives of seniors in a variety of ethnocultural communities as well as the treatment of elders in aboriginal communities.
Problems in financial management, physical and sexual abuse as well as the loss of independent living are examined in detail.
Chinese elders and aboriginal elders are featured and family driven solutions explored.
